DailyDo.it was my first web app, built in May 2012. It’s built on PHP and jQuery, and took about 3 weeks to build.The vision behind DailyDo.it was to have a todo list of things that I could actually get done in the run of a day, and to be able to push unrealistic items off until a later date. Mainly, this app was an exercise in learning to code, since I’d never built an app in its entirety before. It was a struggle, but I would heartily recommend this approach to any budding young developer. Sinking neck deep into a project is the best way to make sure that you actually know what you’re doing.
